  2. Hi Dexter, Just no came across these wonderful photos of your carpentry accomplishments! Good for you. You are indeed making your ancestors proud. Ron and I are proud of you!

I suppose your Carmel friends sent you the hand outs we put together for Bob’s Memorial Service on the Carmel Beach. In case they didn’t, there is another packet coming! I especially love the back cover with you and your surfboard on the sand, enscripting “BOB”. That and the photo was all that was needed. Lovely and thank youl

Bob’s essence was so powerful that a few of us back here are rather haunted by his closeness. Danny & Heather as well as me. I guess a mother never recovers from the shock of losing one’s child and this discovery is very painful. Bob and I were so close, as he was with so many of you and I miss him every minute of every day, and always will.

I hope someday Ron and I can come to Panama to see your artistry. We always thought that we would one day sail through the Canal, but now time seems to be running out for us. Ron turned 80 last summer and I am only four years behind him.

Call us if you are ever in San Francisco. We would love to see you, meet your wife and children.

And, thanks for being such a great pal to my Bobby,

    Jan Wren
